- Every provider has an ‘Authorised access delegate’ who manages the portal access of all other staff members. See more information about the worker screening roles in the registered provider portal.

Request to create or update database access for an employee
Employer requesting access
The primary contact in your organisation is automatically given the ‘Authorised access delegate’ role, which allows them to request, change and approve new worker screening database access accounts for employees. To request database access for an employee:
- Log in to the NDIS worker screening database by following the instructions in How to log in once your access has been approved.
- Request access or update existing access to the NDIS worker screening database on behalf of an employee.
- If the employee doesn’t already have access to the database, an activation email is sent to them, and they have 14 days to activate their access.
Employee requesting access
Alternatively, employees can request access themselves:
- If they don’t have a PRODA account, they can Log in to the NDIS worker screening database for the first time.
If they already have a PRODA account, they can Request access or update existing access to the NDIS worker screening database as an employee. - Once the request has been submitted, the current Authorised access delegate will need to Approve or reject a request for access (as the Authorised Access Delegate).
If your organisation wants an additional person be an Authorised access delegate, that employee or the current Authorised access delegate can include this role in their access request.
