NDIS participants who need an interpreter can call Translating and Interpreting Services National (TIS National) on 131 450 and they can contact us on 1800 035 544.
Interpreters for NDIS supports and services
NDIS providers are responsible for offering interpreter services to help NDIS participants use their supports.
The service can be face-to-face or over the phone.
Your provider or support coordinator can book this for you.
They will need to register with TIS National to access NDIS-funded interpreters.
All interpreters working with NDIS participants must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
